We came to know that flour is made from wheat. When wheat flour is not harmful to eat then why is there maida? So we are telling you that wheat has three parts: 1) Endosperm 2) Bran 3) Grain: First of all the wheat is melted in water and then it is dried. After drying it is put through a machine and the top layer of bran is removed. After that the endosperm and grains are grind there itself. This flour is light yellow, so to whiten it, benzoyl peroxide or alloxan chemicals are added to it, due to which the flour appears extremely white in color. And it also contains more fiber and minerals as compared to wheat flour.

 

IS MAIDA FLOUR REALLY HARMFUL TO EAT?

 

Eating flour is not harmful but consuming it in excessive quantity becomes harmful. It doesn't matter if you say once in two weeks or once in a week. But if you are eating it every day or once in 2 days, then it can harmful for you.
